Norma Luzetta Jones Jessup

Mrs. Norma Luzetta Jones Jessup, 94, passed away Saturday April 19, 2025, at Village Care of King. She was born February 28, 1931, to the late Roy Jones and Litha Jones. Norma was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and collecting nick knacks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Hilton Jessup; son, Dennis Combs; one brother, Greene; and five sisters, Clarsie, Irene, Georgia, Mary Lee and Silvia. Norma is survived by her daughter, Donna Norman (Mike); daughter-in-law, Judy Combs; three grandchildren, Stacey Combs, Mikela Norman, Cody Norman; two great-grandchildren, Catherine and Aaron; one sister, Gloria Jean Smythers; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 2pm Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville with Rev. Dr. Virgil G. Dwyer, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
