Norma Lee Reece Foley, age 84, of 345 Woods Lane, Winston-Salem, N.C., entered Heaven on the first day of Spring, Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice home in Winston-Salem, N.C. Mrs. Foley was a registered cosmetologist, a former Sunday School teacher and youth leader at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Winston-Salem and served as President of the Davidson County Extension Homemakers Council from 1988-89. She was a devoted wife and mother and dedicated homemaker. She was born in Surry County, North Carolina on May 8, 1925 to Roby and Ruby Reece and was the eldest of nine siblings. She was pre-deceased by her husband of 48 years, Hayman Edgar ""Red"" Foley on Memorial Day, 2009. She is survived by one son, Jonathan E. Foley of Winston-Salem; one stepson, Dr. Thomas J. (Jerry) Foley and wife Carolyn of Danville, Va.; two stepdaughters: Youlanda Foley White and husband, Jerry of Stoneville, N.C and Malinda Foley Wall and husband, Jay of Madison, N.C. She is also survived by two brothers: Leon Reece and wife Kathy of Elkin, N.C and John Reece and wife Faye of Pfafftown, N.C.; and two sisters: Doris Darnell of Elkin, N.C and Betty Riley of Winston-Salem, N.C. She also has seven step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Foley was also pre-deceased by one step-son, H.E. Foley Jr., and four brothers: Tommy Reece, James Reece, Charles Reece, and David Reece. Memorials may be made to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27103. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 24, at 2:00 p.m at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 998 Hutton Street in Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Tim Wolfe, Rev. Don Sigmon, and Rev. Randall Reece with burial to follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens on Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem N.C. Visitation will be held on Tue.
