Norma Everhart

Winston-Salem- Mrs. Norma Skelton Everhart, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, after a long illness.  She was born May 9, 1947, in West Virginia, the daughter of the late Roscoe and Lucille McPeak Skelton.  She was married to the late Rickey Everhart for 54 years.  Norma worked at AT&T for 24 ½ years, and then went on to work for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, where she retired in 2009 after 18 years with the rank of Sergeant.  Working all her life, her greatest joys were her grandchildren.  Survivors include her daughter, Terri Stinson (Rick); her granddaughters, Nikki Everhart and Cheyenne Hollandsworth (Chris); a sister, Linda Beauchamp (Arnold) and her brother, Bob Skelton (Sue).  Per her written request there will be no funeral.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.  Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
