Nora Frances Adams Lynch

Winston-Salem LYNCH-Mrs. Nora Adams Lynch, 96 went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday November 28, 2008. She was born in Surry County to the late Sam and Ida Jessup Adams. Mrs. Lynch also affectionately known as ""Granny"" was loved by everyone she met and she was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband William Reid Lynch Sr. and one son Billy Ray Lynch. Survivors include three daughters; Anna Belle Goode, Kernersville, Jolene Brookbank, Greensboro, and Shirley Bodenheimer and husband Jack, Thomasville; two sons; Spencer Lynch and wife Ruby, Greensboro, and William Lynch and wife Shirley, Winston-Salem; a daughter in-law Barbara Lynch, Winston-Salem; one brother Clayton Adams and wife Doris, Laurinburg; 24 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM Monday December 1, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller-Cain Funeral Chapel with Dr. Bobby Roberson and Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home and at other times at the daughter Anna Belle's Home, 2420 West Mountain St. Kernersville.
