Nona Hepler Ford

KERNERSVILLE-Mrs. Nona Hepler Ford went to be with her Lord Saturday August 9, 2008 at her home. She was born March 20, 1920 in Forsyth County to the late Zeb F. and Rosa Lee Bodford Hepler. Mrs. Ford was a member of Kerwin Baptist Church where she was ""Mother of the Year"" in 1995. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years John Henry Ford and two sisters and one brother. She is survived by four daughters; Penny Shepherd of Kernersville, Phyllis Bailey of Midway, Jewell Laxton and husband Ronnie of Walkertown, and Hilda Youmans and husband Pete of Hazard KY; two sons Terry Ford and wife Joyce of Kernersville and Lenny Ford and wife Mitzi of Germanton; Two Sisters Lottie Childress and Doris Wilkins both of Winston-Salem; one brother, Jimmie Hepler, Winston-Salem; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a special niece Ann Marie Cecil A Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday August 12, 2008 at Kerwin Baptist Church, Kernersville with Dr. Joe Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Hayworth Miller Cain Funeral Home Kernersville. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center 101 Hospice Lane Winston- Salem, NC 27103.
