Noel Joseph Miller

PFAFFTOWN, NC--Mr. Noel Joseph Miller, 68, of Pfafftown, NC, passed away early Sunday morning April 28, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Washington D.C. on December 26, 1944. Noel was raised by his grandparents Roy and Mary Miller and graduated from West Forsyth High School. He served our country in the United States Navy from 1966-1969. Noel attended Forsyth Tech Community College and worked for Grandview Construction for a short time. He later began working for Hutchinson Algood Printing and eventually retired with 40 years of service. Noel was very good with composing and playing music. He worked with many churches in the area playing the organ for them during their services. Noel was an outdoors man that enjoyed hiking and chopping wood. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Noel is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Ruth Miller of Pfafftown, NC; son, Jason Miller of Pfafftown, NC; in laws, Gwyn and Betty Clodfelter of Lewisville, NC; and close friends Clyde and Helen Hamrick. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday May 1, 2013 at New Philadelphia Moravian Church with Rev. Dr. Worth Green officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Kate B.
