Noah David Hudson

Mr. Noah David Hudson, 85, of Advance passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. He was born June 11, 1924 in Surry Co. to James Henry and Mary Seagraves Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a member of Church of Christ and was retired from the Winston-Salem Journal and Sentinel with 40 year of service. He was also a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and three sisters. Surviving him is his wife, Sylvia Hudson; two sons, David Lawrence Hudson and Basil Gray Hudson; four grandchildren, Joshua, Sean, Sarah and Grace; a great grandson, Dylan Thomas Hudson and two sisters, Mary Hakes of Buffalo, NY and Selma Ferguson of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
