Nina Durham Stone

Nina Durham Stone, 76, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born March 21, 1937 in Wilkes County to Conrad Glen and Nellie Stone Durham. Ms. Stone was retired from Hamrick's Department Store. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister and best friend, Mary Chambers. Surviving are three sons, Terry Stone (Carol) of Jonesville, David Stone (Angie) of Kernersville, and Billy Stone (Jennifer) of Winston-Salem; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Jones and Margie Whitley, both of Kernersville; and one brother, Harold Durham of Boise, ID. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at Unity Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
