Nila Hauser Duncan

COLFAX Mrs. Nila Hauser Duncan, 91, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at River Landing at Sandy Ridge. She was born December 28, 1919 in Guilford Co. to the late Glenn P. and Molly Heath Hauser. Mrs. Duncan was a member of Main Street Baptist Church and was their organist for over 20 years. She retired from Western Electric after many years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lambert Allan Duncan; and three brothers, Paul, Forrest, and Donald Hauser. Surviving are her two sisters, Lyda Duvall and Estelle Martin both of Kernersville; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Mike Willard and Rev. Wilson Harmon officiating . Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
