Nicholas Brent Spivey

Nicolas Brent Spivey, 23, of Advance, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011. He was born March 18, 1988 in Wilson County to John (Jackie) Spivey Jr. and Vickie Beattie Spivey. Brent was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed water sports, skateboarding, watching movies, and computer games. Preceding him in death was his grandfather John J. Spivey Sr. Survivors include his parents, Jackie Spivey and Vickie of Advance; brother, John (Zach) Spivey and wife Kimberly Spivey and niece Haley of Raleigh; grandparents Roger and Francis Beattie of Sanford, Nicey Spivey of Rockingham and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, May 16, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
