Nestor E. Kaczanowski

Mr. Nestor Edward Kaczanowski, 72 of Clemmons passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Argentina on December 14, 1939 to the late Edward and Julia Zuk Kaczanowski. Mr. Kaczanowski moved from Argentina to New Jersey in 1963. He then married his wife, Leonor Sostaita in 1964. Later, the couple moved to the Clemmons area where he became owner and President of North Point Fabrics. Mr. Kaczanowski loved to travel making many trips to Europe and Argentina. He was a member of Bermuda Run Country Club, the Piedmont Club and was a huge soccer fan. Mr. Kaczanowski adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His desire to care for his family was first and foremost in his life. Nestor's generosity over the years for his family and friends enabled many to succeed in their lives. He never asked anything in return. Nestor leaves this earth a better place- he will be missed. He is survived by his loving wife; a daughter, Natalie Homesley and husband Dr. David Homesley of Charlotte; and two grandsons, Jack and Alex Homesley. He also leaves behind many family members and friends in Argentina. A funeral mass will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with the Rev. Brian Cook officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Jamie Trujillo, 3801 N. Lakeshore Drive, Clemmons, NC. The family would like to send a special thanks to Hospice of Davie County, Mr. Kaczanowski's caregivers, Ashley and Tisha, Juan Carlos and Tita Sostaita, and Dr. and Mrs. Jamie Trujillo for their loving care and compassion.
