Nellie Boles Bodenhamer

Mrs. Nellie Boles Bodenhamer, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 15, 2010 in Dobson, NC. She was born in Stokes County on December 22, 1918 to the late Gilbert and Lacy Boles. Mrs. Bodenhamer was an active member of Rural Hall Church of Christ until the time of her illness. In addition to her parents Mrs. Bodenhamer was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Gilbert (Gib) Bodenhamer, her sister Ruby Rutledge, and brothers James (Jake) Boles, Paul Boles and Everette Boles. She is survived by two sons; Robert Bodenhamer and wife Betty of Dobson, Bennie Bodenhamer and wife Teresa of Elkin; grandchildren Bobby Bodenhamer and wife Tammie, Candy Mooney and husband Scott, Danny Bodenhamer, Kevin Bodenhamer and Barry Bodenhamer and wife Kellie. She was also blessed to have 13 great grandchildren and 1 great- great granddaughter. She is also survived by her sister Pat Ingram and husband Junior; sister-in-laws; Juanita Boles, Hattie Boles and Frances Boles. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Friday evening December 17th from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
