Nelle Woosley Harper

Mrs. Nelle Woosley Harper, 100, of Clemmons passed away Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Harper was born in Forsyth County on February 20, 1908 to the late John Thomas and Mary Bodenheimer Woosley. She was a member of Warner's Chapel Church of Christ. Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband John Benbow Harper; daughters Jonnie Harper, Leota Barringer, and Barbara Hiatt; a son Max Harper; and three sons-in-law Mahlon Barringer, Herb Sidden, and Leroy Dull. She is survived by three children Mary Ellen Dull of Clemmons; Eva Nelle Sidden of Winston-Salem, and Gary Harper and wife Rosa Lee of Thomasville; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; daughter -in -law Carrie Harper and a son- in- law Lindy Hiatt. A funeral service will be conducted 6:30 pm Tuesday July 8, 2008 at Warners Chapel Church of Christ with Mr. Paul Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
