Neal Anthony Joseph

Mr. Neal Anthony Joseph, 71, of Winston-Salem, NC died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Silas Creek Manor. He was born June 9, 1938 in Honolulu, HI to Anthony and Rosalie Azevedo Joseph. Mr. Joseph was a graduate of St. Louis High School in Honolulu and the University of Hawaii where he did his post graduate work and taught in the University System for thirty years. He moved to Winston-Salem in 1995 where he was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. He was always active in the community, helping everyone discover the best in themselves. He was a living example of unconditional love to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Joseph of the home; two daughters, C. J. Joseph of Winston-Salem and Samantha Joseph of Wichita, KS; one son, Patrick Joseph and wife, Christine of Phoenix, AZ; his mother of Winston-Salem; one brother, Patrick C. Joseph and wife, Elly of Dallas, TX; and two nephews, Eric Joseph and wife, Kelly and their children, Jaylen and Ty of Apex, NC and Brian Joseph of Dallas TX. A Memorial Mass will be said Saturday at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc., P. O.
