Neal Hauser Harper

Mr. Neal Hauser Harper, 87, passed away Monday, May 13, 2024. He was born on April 17, 1937, in Forsyth County to the late George Thomas and Margaret Hauser Harper. Mr. Harper served in the U.S. Army National Guard and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. with several years of service.  He was a lifetime and faithful member of Warners Chapel Church of Christ. Preceding him in death along with his parents were four brothers and four sisters. Surviving is his wife of 68 years, Lou Ann McKinney Harper; two daughters, Cindy Harper Tesh (Steve) and Dana Harper Hinson (Todd); five grandchildren, Sarah Tesh Davis (Ryan), Mary Tesh, Julia Tesh, Andrew Hinson (Becca), and Emily Hinson; two great-grandchildren, Luke Davis and Charlotte Davis and one on the way, a little boy due in August; also surviving is a sister, Dora Harper Conner and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Warners Chapel Church of Christ with Mr. Todd Hinson, Mr. Steve Tesh, and Mr. Ryan Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-10:50 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warners Chapel Church of Christ, 8999 Lasater Rd.
