Naomi Westmoreland Snow

Mrs. Naomi Westmoreland Snow, 95, the only surviving child of Thomas Taylor and Margaret Elizabeth Griffin Westmoreland, has gone to be with her Savior and loved ones. The chain is linked again. She was born in Forsyth County on May 16, 1913 and passed away on February 5, 2009. Mrs. Snow was a member of First Baptist Church of Stanleyville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Snow; her daughter, Emily Snow; two brothers, James and Ray Westmoreland; three sisters, Elizabeth Westmoreland, Eunice Smith and Blanche Dills. Surviving are several nieces and nephews including two special nieces, Jacqueline Cromer and Eunice ""Tot"" Hailey. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 7 at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville with the Rev. Eddie Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, February 6 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Stanleyville, Family Life Center Fund, 851 Ziglar Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
