Mrs. Nannie Blackburn Todd, 88, of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 30, 1921 in Lincoln County to Max David and Cynthia Schronce Blackburn. Mrs. Todd was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she was also a charter member of the United Methodist Women, and a long-time member of the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur ""Ott"" Todd; a son, Donald W. Todd; and two sisters, Alma and Katherine. Surviving are two children, Michael Todd and wife Bonnie of Midway, and Emily Branch and husband Charles of Clemmons; a daughter-in-law, Frances Todd of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Jason Todd and wife Krys, Joe Todd and wife Martha, Alex Todd and Hallie, Shannon Adkins and husband Joey, Ashley Reid and husband Chris, Jason Branch, and Lisa Bass and husband Ken; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Lily, Hunter, Caroline, Kelly, Amanda, Noah, Troy, Isabella, Garrett, Noah and Emma. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 10 at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. David Smith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
