Mrs. Nannie Lee Haynes Plemmons Parker, age 90 of King went home to her Lord and Savior Monday, January 12, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Nannie Lee was born September 22, 1924 in McDowell County, NC to Benjamin Franklin and Ora Lee Marlow Haynes. She was a member of Marshall Baptist Church in Winston-Salem where she loved the people and enjoyed singing in the choir. In addition to her parents Nannie Lee was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Plemmons and her second husband, Raymond Parker, Sr. and nine siblings.

Nannie Lee is survived by three daughters; Brenda Robinson of Winston-Salem, Janice Thomas and Barbara (Don) White both of King. Nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one step-son, Dr. Raymond Parker, Jr. Two special nieces, Peni Plemmons and Louise Taylor. Numerous nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart.

Funeral services for Nannie Lee will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Marshall Baptist Church in Winston-Salem by Pastor John Holmes. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marshall Baptist Church, 5739 Old Rural Hall Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
