Kernersville - Mrs. Nannie Chandler, 92, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born June 11, 1918 in Stokes County. She last worked for Holden Brother's Manufacturing. Her life revolved around her three boys, and her love for pruning ""her"" flowers! She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Chandler, a sister, Beulah Welch, and two brothers, Frank and Jessie Vernon. Surviving are; three sons, Mike Pilson and wife Linda, Billy Pilson, and David Pilson, a daughter, Bernice Heath, seven grandchildren, Sharon, Nikki, Billy, Janice, Rodney, Kimberly, and Monica, and fifteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel by Rev. Rob Decker. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
