Nannette Shelton Mabe

Mrs. Nannette ""Neena"" Shelton Mabe 51, of Pfafftown passed away April 12, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth County on April 12, 1961 to Buford and Nila Turner Shelton. Nannette was a member of Green St United Methodist Church, where she was a prominent leader. Nannette was a dedicated employee of Inmar Enterprizes.She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, sister, and friend. Nannette was an avid reader and photographer, enjoyed playing with sock monkeys and loved playing golf. She had such a great outlook on life and very rich sense of humor. Nannette is preceded in death by father Buford Shelton; step son Justin; and niece Jessica Hammonds. She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years Donnie Mabe of the home; one daughter Kate Mabe; of the home, sister Susan Shelton Millsaps and husband Dennis ""Cupcake"" of Winston-Salem; mother Nila Shelton of Winston-Salem; a special dog Ginger; and two special cats, Harold and Maude. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday April 15, 2012 at Green St. United Methodist Church with Rev. Kelly P. Carpenter and Rev. Willard W. Bass, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5-7 PM April 14, 2012 at Green St. United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Green Street United Methodist Church, 639 S.
