Nancy Tuttle

Kernersville – Mrs. Nancy Ruth West Tuttle, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at her residence. She was born on February 22, 1935, in Forsyth County to Wade and Beulah Parrish West. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Whitley.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 70 years, Billy Lee Tuttle; two sons, Lee Alan Tuttle (wife, Julie) and Craig Steven Tuttle (wife, Sarah); six grandchildren, Crystal, Amanda, Kymberly, Alan, Heather, and Christopher; ten great grandchildren; and special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Nancy will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Glenn View Baptist Church with Pastor Coley Rimmer officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nancy’s name to Trellis Supportive Care at 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering at 3806 Monument Avenue, Richmond, VA 23230.
