Nancy Plaster

KERNERSVILLE – Nancy Jane Pegg Plaster, 73, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Citadel of Winston-Salem. Nancy was born on August 4, 1948 in Forsyth County to the late Robert and Laura Tuttle Pegg. She was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Kernersville. Nancy’s most treasured past time was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved traveling to the beach and had a special place in her heart for animals. Nancy was also an avid Duke and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She always had a happy smile and infectious friendly laugh.

Surviving are her daughters, Deanna Rohde Haynes (Frank), Amy Rohde (Rob Nelson), and Jessica Plaster; six grandsons, Robby Haynes (Eden), Brandon Haynes, Dylan Haynes (Savannah), Daniel Dolesh (Katie), Austin Dolesh, and Hudson Freeman; two great grandchildren, Bo Haynes and Aiden Dolesh; and shared a special bond with her cousins, Gwen Echols and Debby Sorrell.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Kernersville with Rev. Jim Prichard officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
