Nancy McAbee Penry

Mrs. Nancy McAbee Penry passed away December 14, 2023, in the care of Hospice. She was born September 29, 1932, the daughter of Jeffie James and Edna Cornatzer McAbee. Mrs. Penry was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Margaret McAbee Brendle, and her loving husband, John F. Penry. She is survived by her children, James A. Penry (Karen) and Melissa P. Arledge (Bill). Nancy’s true gift was as a loving Grandmom and Great Grandmom to her seven grandchildren, Will (Marian), Curt (Lauren), Carolyn (Sam), Kathryn (Michael), John, Sarah, and Ellen, as well as great grandchildren, Rankin, Liam, Witt, Frankie and Margo. She also leaves behind her special great nephew, Hunter (Megan) and their children, Emma and Caroline. A heartfelt thanks goes to her caretaker and friend, Libby. A private graveside service will be held by her family.
