Nancy Bulluck Lehnberg, 68, of Lewisville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Rocky Mount, NC on June 29, 1953 to Dillard and Kathleen (Mayberry) Bulluck. She graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High in 1972, attended North Carolina Wesleyan College for two years, then received her associate degree from Nash Technical Institute. Nancy faced many physical obstacles and barriers throughout her life and met each with strength and determination. She also fulfilled her lifelong dream of marrying and having children. Nancy was a devoted wife and supportive, loving, and inspirational mother to two intelligent and successful young ladies. She loved tending to her roses, cross stitching, knitting, reading, listening to music, laughing, and spending time with her beloved family (including her dogs).
Nancy is survived by the love of her life and husband of 43 years, Jim Lehnberg; her daughters, Amanda and Anna Lehnberg; her brother, Dill Bulluck; her brothers-in-law, Bob Lehnberg and Charlie Townsend; her mother-in-law, Jo Lehnberg; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Lou Townsend.
A portion of Nancy’s ashes will be interred at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, and her family will be scattering the remainder of her ashes in the surf at Wrightsville Beach, a place that brought her immense serenity and comfort. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forsyth Humane Society. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
