Nancy Whitson Laws

Walkertown – Mrs. Nancy Whitson Laws, 84, passed away March 13, 2024, at her home. Nancy was born in Mitchell County, NC on October 14, 1939, to the late Joe and Hetty Whitson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jack Whitson; and her niece, Kimberly Whitson Tipton.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Jeff Laws; her children, Joe (Elaine) Laws and Kyle (Nancy) Laws. She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother to: Nicholas, Austin, Hunter, Meredith, Carli, Grayson, Sadie, Harper, Amelia, Ross, and Hadley. She will also be missed by her many friends and neighbors in Walkertown.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Chip Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Love’s United Methodist Church Cemetery.
