Nancy Lenore Stewart Hopkins

Nancy Lenore Stewart Hopkins,74, passed away March 28, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born January 19, 1938 in Davidson County to the late Lester Eugene Stewart and Nona Vae Yountz Stewart. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Billy Gene, Robert Edward, Allen Lester, Charles Neal, and Lois Frances. Nancy was retired from Piedmont Airlines / U.S. Air. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Robbin Adams (William) and her son, Richard Sapp (Cindy); six grandchildren, Billy Sapp (April), Tina Engebretson (Michael), Daniel Adams, Dillion Adams, Joshua Newsom, and Jennifer Deary (John); eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Jimmy Stewart (Barbara), Zane Stewart (Louise), Carol Branch, and Tony Stewart (Linda); a very special and dedicated niece, Cris Mahaffey. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Archie Creed officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
