Mrs. Nancy Tattersall Foster, 81, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Foster was born on February 14, 1934, in Rhode Island to the late Frederick Slate Tattersall and Dorothy Hale Tattersall. She graduated from Hanes High School in 1952 and attended Bryant Business College. Nancy worked as a bowling instructor at Major League Lanes as well as an administrative assistant at multiple businesses. She was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church before transferring her membership to Friedberg Moravian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garner Roosevelt Foster and a sister, Barbara Jean Tattersall. Mrs. Foster is survived by a daughter, Cathy Manson of Mocksville, NC; two sons, Butch Baxter (Monica) of Greensboro, NC and Rick Baxter (Lynn) of Lewisville, NC; three grandchildren, Collin Dean Baxter, Chris Alan Baxter and Ryan Parker Manson; and numerous other loving relatives in Massachusetts. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Susan Morris officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or Pastor's Pantry, 307 N. State St., Lexington, NC 27292.
