Nancy Sue Settle Foltz

Mrs. Nancy Sue Settle Foltz, 71, of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to so many here and in Carolina Beach. She was born March 28, 1939 in Forsyth County to Bynum U. and Frances Lawson Settle. Nancy was a faithful member of Friedberg Moravian Church since 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Foltz. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Leonard and husband Jeff, and Pam Flowers and husband Eddie; six grandchildren, Zach Brewer and wife Kim, Sarah Sneed and husband Kenneth, Courtney Haymore and husband Jeremy, Judson Flowers, Hannah Leonard, and Charlie Leonard, all of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Margaret (Peggy) Hendrix of Clemmons, and Shelby Ellis and husband Sherrill of Arcadia; two brothers, Gary Settle, and Jim Settle and wife Pam, all of Winston-Salem. Also preceding her in death was a sister, Nina Dimmette. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17 at Friedberg Moravian Church with the Rev. G. Thomas Shelton and the Rev. James C. Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 16 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
