Nancy Cooke

Nancy Moore Cooke of Winston Salem went to her spiritual home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 5:42 PM from a long illness. She was born on May 20, 1934, to Donnie and Annie Moore. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband; John (Jackie) Cooke, sons; Kenneth, Ricky, and Jonathan Cooke, and daughter Penny Cooke Reid. She is survived by her daughter Belinda Lefevre (Joseph), grandchildren; Adam Lefevre, Tiffany Pisini (Matthew), great grandson; Nicolas Pisini, and nieces and nephews. She spent her retirement reading, playing computer games, and spending time with her family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Sturge Weber Foundation, 6105 S. Main Street #200, Aurora, Colorado 80016 or The Enrichment Center, 1006 Marshall Street SW, Winston Salem, North Carolina 27101. A graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery, 3123 Indiana Avenue, Winston Salem, North Carolina on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 11:00am. Pastor Doug Klein will be officiating the service.
