Mrs. Nancy Ernest Conrad, 78, of Winston-Salem, passed Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born October 9, 1929 in Forsyth County to Grover Allen Ernest, Sr. and Bertha Teague Ernest. Mrs. Conrad was a charter member of Parkway Baptist Church where she loved to serve God and enjoyed serving others. She loved to spend time with her family and friends traveling and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and two sisters. Surviving are her husband of the home, Mr. Jack Conrad, Sr.; one son, Jack Conrad, Jr. (wife Angie) of Clemmons; one daughter, Tracey Pittman (husband Darren) of Fayetteville; one brother, Turner Ernest; one sister, Peggy Linville both of Winston-Salem; two grandchildren, Ryan and Robyn Conrad and all of her extended family. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 1, 2008 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Susan G.
