Nancy Chandler

Mrs. Nancy Lee Colvard Chandler, 87, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. She was born on April 24, 1934 in Boone to Ralph N. Colvard and Winnie Goldie Norris Colvard. Nancy was an avid gardener and she loved flowers. She was a great cook. Nancy enjoyed watching the weather to see what it was going to do. She loved to shop, was very stylish, and was always up to date with the current fashion trends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby C. Chandler and five siblings. Surviving is her daughter, Pamela Chandler Eaton; son, Rory Chandler and wife, Joy; grandchildren, Goldie Chandler Ray and husband, Thomas; great-grandchildren, Craig, Cameron, and Briella Ray; sister, Barbara Baird and husband, Wayne; and lots of extended family. A private family service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262.
