Nancy Pinnix Butcher

Mrs. Nancy Pinnix Butcher, age 83 of Lewisville passed away Monday, May 30, 2016. She was born January 31, 1933 in Forsyth County to the late Benjamin Franklin Pinnix and Hazel Luper Pinnix. Mrs. Butcher was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church and had retired from Prudential Insurance after 40 years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Willie Butcher in 2014 and one sister, Bonnie Luper. She is survived by her son, Stephen Douglas Butcher; two sisters, Sandra Castle and Phyllis Jones; one aunt, Dorothy Luper; three nieces, Lynne Scott and husband John, Donna Nations and husband Mark and Stefanie Jones; one nephew, Brian Jones and three great nephews and one great niece. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church by Rev. Greg Freeman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, 5041 Styers Ferry Rd, Lewisville, NC 27023.
