Nancy Lee Burger

Ms. Nancy Lee Burger, 58, of Clemmons passed away Friday, December 19, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Burger was born in Forsyth County to Roy L. and May Nixon Burger on May 15, 1950. She was of the Baptist Faith and retired from Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Burger loved crafts, word puzzles, trips to Wal-Mart, and sewing. She truly loved her granddaughters and enjoyed spending time with them. Ms. Burger was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Sweatland. She is survived by a daughter Christy Ayers of King; three granddaughters, Mary-Allison, Laura-Elizabeth, and Natalie-Jane Ayers; her mother and father of Swansboro; four sisters Barbara Sharp and husband John of Clemmons; Emily Mosley and husband Rick of Lexington; Julie Purdy and husband Rick of San Antonio, TX; Margaret Laudien and husband Sven of Lewisville; a brother Roy L. Burger, Jr. and wife Barbara of Sarasota, FL; and numerous family and friends. A memorial service will be conducted 7:00 pm Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Pastor Randall Smith officiating.
