Myrtle Williams

Mrs. Myrtle Mae Stone Williams, 103, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Yadkin Valley Senior Living in Elkin. She was born November 15, 1918 in Butler, TN to Robert and Cora Proffitt Stone. Mrs. Williams retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Gorrell Williams; a son, Jerry Lee Williams; two sisters, Una Livingston and Edna Seagraves and one brother, Dana Stone. Surviving are a son, Dale Williams (Linda); two granddaughters, Christine Hutchens (Danny) and Jessica Williams (Colby); one great granddaughter, Annalise Williams and a sister, Bobbie Jean Shepherd (Dick). A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Forsyth Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
