Myrtle Howell Moricle

Mrs. Myrtle Howell Moricle, 85, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. 

She was born on November 15, 1937, in Jefferson County, AL, to the late John D. Howell and Maude S. Howell. 

She graduated from Bluefield College and retired from LabCorp. She loved her beach trips, the pool, and was an avid reader. 

In addition to her parents, Myrtle was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Robert Everett Moricle, Sr. 

Her surviving family members include her two children, Robert Everett (Carrie) Moricle, Jr. and Michele M. (Steve) Spaugh; three grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, and Korey; her sister, Lettye (Bobby); and five great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 1:00PM at Parklawn Memorial Park with Pastor Doug Klein officiating.
