Myra Johnston

Myra Renee’ Johnston, 47, passed away August 24, 2020 at Lexington Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 8, 1973 in Forsyth County to the late Volree Richardson Johnston, and Richard Leo Johnston. Myra was a very loving person and always outgoing. She loved people, excepting of all people, and she never met a stranger. After losing her mother last year, they are finally reunited and at peace.

Left to cherish her memory are her six children, Mark Leach (Abby) of New Philadelphia, OH, Kaley Francisco (Ryan) of South Boston, VA, Kori Henderson (Alex Bradshaw) of Kernersville, NC, Kamryn Henderson of Kernersville, NC, Lily Hickman, and Bucky Hickman; six grandchildren, Parker, Carter, Sophie, Spencer, Mila, Jaxson, and the grandcat, Cleo; two sisters, Nicci Roebuck (Michael Porta) and Becky Squanda (Vern); and a brother, Ricky Johnston (Kayla).

A graveside service for Myra will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2020 at Brown-Fowler Cemetery in West Jefferson, NC with Pastor Tim Gerber officiating.
