Mrs. Mary Frances ""Ms. Mary"" Sink Spradlin, 72, passed away March 18, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 19, 1938 in Forsyth County to the late Sidney Lee Sink, Sr. and Winnie Burke Sink. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, John Edward Spradlin, her sisters, Hazel Dorsett, Ethel Myers, and Josephine Bowen and her brothers, George, Lee, and Ransom Sink. Mrs. Spradlin was a member of Friedberg Moravian Church and was retired from Southern Bell with over 26 years of service. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, nana, sister, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Goins and husband Larry; a step-daughter, Pati O'Toole and husband John; three granddaughters, Angie Bradford Boles, Jennifer Alford Warren (John), and Heather Alford Kiger (Jayson); three great-grandchildren, Addison McDaniel, Lorali Warren, and Logan Kiger; two sisters, Helen Bowen and Ruth Cooper; a brother, Clay Sink; a brother-in-law, Jack Spradlin and wife Ann. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, March 21, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. G. Thomas Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
