Ms. Jessie McBride Cameron, 51, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Thursday June 23, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Ms. Cameron was born on November 8, 1959 in Forsyth County to the late Dewey and Minnie McBride. Ms. Cameron was of the Baptist faith. She worked at Kmart for 12 years until her health declined. She loved to scrapbook and she enjoyed playing Wheel of Fortune and watching Days of Our Lives. Preceding Ms. Cameron in death along with her parents are a half sister, Betty L. Collins and a half brother, Dewey H. McBride, Jr. Surviving Ms. Cameron are two sons, Chad Cameron and Matthew Cameron, both of the home; one stepson, Lester Eugene McHone of Winston-Salem; two granddaughters, Christina and Bella; one sister, Adaline Brown (Frankie) of Winston-Salem; one brother, Dewey Harrison McBride (Susan) of Winston-Salem; fiance' Francis Bergeron of the home; four nephews, Michael, Jason, Junior and John and three nieces, Linda, Barbara and Machelle. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. John Sealey officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
