Ms. Hazel Alene McMillion

Ms. Hazel Alene McMillion, age 79, of Pinnacle passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on September 16, 1932 to the late Elmer Eugene McMillon and Eva Hooker McMillon. Ms. McMillion worked at AT&T and Renfro Hosiery. She was a member of Brim's Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Ms. McMillion was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth McMillion Simpson. She is survived by a sister, Ruby Marshall of Pinnacle; brother, Roy McMillon and wife, Shirley of King; and also, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at Brim's Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brim's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3509 NC 268 Hwy E, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041.
