Mrs. Susan Kimball Walsworth

Mrs. Susan Kimball Walsworth, 70, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Hospice and Palliative Care Center. She was born November 7, 1942 in Winston-Salem, the daughter of the late Frank Lutz Kimball and Lucille Stonestreet Kimball of Winston-Salem. She was an active, charter member of Christ Lutheran Church and a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Walsworth was an avid lover of the beach and enthusiastic about reading books, working puzzles and spending time with family and friends. Surviving is Mrs. Walsworth's husband of 32 years, Bob of Lexington, NC, her daughter, Christi Sharpe; two step-children, Brooke Dahl and Brian Walsworth, and six step-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be conducted Friday, August 9, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Hayworth Miller Silas Creek Chapel, Winston-Salem with the Rev. Dr. Donald Murray and Rev. Charles Whitaker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service from 7-8 pm in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 3205 South Main Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27127 in honor of Susan K, Walsworth.
