Mrs. Ruth Ann Weatherman Harper, 93, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Regency Care of Clemmons. Mrs. Harper was born in Yadkin County on September 24, 1919 to Wade L. and Electa Johnson Weatherman. She was a very faithful and active member of Calvary Baptist Church until her health declined. Mrs. Harper was retired from Indera Mills with 51 years of loyal service.Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert E Harper, son, Kenneth Weatherman, daughter Diane H. Tackett, three brothers and five sisters She is survived by a daughter, Polly H. Gobble of Clemmons; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Reda Jurney of Statesville; Freda Mullis of Harmony, and Ulala Mitchell of Union Grove; one daughter-in-law, Etta Weatherman of Raleigh; and many special nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel ; Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
