Mrs. Renee Launa Barrett Moore

II Timothy 4: 6-8Mrs. Renee Launa Barrett Moore, 42, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born August 1, 1967 in Guilford County to Frank D. and Launa Patteson Barrett. Mrs. Moore was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She attended Guilford Tech Community College. She enjoyed camping, cross stitching, working puzzles, and loved her family. She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Rick Barrett. Surviving is her husband of 21 years, Steve Moore; two children, Stephanie and Steven; her mother of Greensboro; two brothers, Robbie Barrett and Russell Barrett, both of Greensboro; a nephew, Jesse Barrett; and two nieces, Rachel Barrett and Amber Kite. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 9 at St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. James O. Murr, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Saints Delight Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 8 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Services, 3175 Maplewood Ave., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
