Mrs. Grace Lucille Hoffman Potts

Advance-Grace Lucille Hoffman Potts, 94, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 8, 1916 in Davidson County to the late Robert Parmania and Seleneth Phelps Hoffman. Mrs. Potts was of the Baptist faith. She loved to quilt, play rook, and spend time with her family. Preceding her in death was her husband, George Potts, four sisters, and five brothers. Surviving are a daughter, Janet Spann (Charles) of Advance; two sons, Charles Potts (Jackie) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Ray Potts (Sheila) of Mocksville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Dr. Bill Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
