Mrs. Geraldine Swaim Hine

HINE Mrs. Geraldine Swaim Hine, 81 of Lexington passed away Saturday June 23, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Palliative Care. Mrs. Hine was born August 18, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late Osher Victor Swaim and Lillian Crotts Swaim. She was retired from Sara Lee. Mrs. Hine was preceded in death by her beloved husband Herbert Hine. Mrs. Hine is survived by her sister Peggy Smith and brother Donald Swaim and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, Winston Salem, NC with Brother Barry Splawn officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11-1 PM. at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family would like to express their appreciation to the caring staff at Bermuda Commons; the caregivers at Wake Forest Baptist Health Palliative Care; and friends and neighbors.
