Mrs. Florence Emma Fishel Ball

Mrs. Florence Emma Fishel Ball, 95, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth County to Maggie Beckel and David Franklin Fishel. She retired from Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System in 1982 and worked as a seamstress at White's Sewing Shop. She was a member of Konnoak Hills Moravian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Ball; two sons, Archie Ball and R.J. Ball; daughter, Betty Parks; grandson, Tim Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Jones and husband Bud of Winston-Salem, two daughters-in-law, Fay Ball and Dorothy Ball; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Konnoak Hills Moravian Church with Rev. John D. Rights and Rev. Ray Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Moravian Graveyard. The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
