Mrs. Elsie Ruth Tezak

Mrs. Elsie Ruth Benko Tezak, 86, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2017. She was born on October 20, 1930, in Pueblo, CO, and was the youngest of ten children. Elsie spent much of her life as a stay at home mother and was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, Joseph; and two sons, Joseph Edward Tezak and William John Tezak. Surviving are one daughter, Anne E. Tezak; one brother, Albert (Aletta) Benko of Pueblo, CO; special niece, Carol Anderson-Palmer of Honolulu, HI; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her family and friends, but she is now in blessed peace. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Homestead Hills for their aid during her difficult years and to the Caring Friends and Ministers that visited and prayed with her weekly.
