Mrs. Elizabeth Hinsdale Prescott, 98, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 13, 1911 in Forsyth County to Julius and Ellen Griffin Hinsdale. Mrs. Prescott was the oldest living member of Bunker Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ivey Johnson Prescott; and a daughter, Doris Prescott Walker. Surviving are one brother, Roger Hinsdale of Kernersville, four sons, Kenneth Prescott, Terry Prescott, both of Winston-Salem, Joseph Prescott of Myrtle Beach and Ronnie Prescott of Raleigh; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13 at Bunker Hill Primitive Baptist Church with Elder John Wingfield officiating. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
