Mrs. Donna Meador Frye

Mrs. Donna Meador Frye, 67 of Lewisville, NC, a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away, Monday, October 24, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Donna was born May 18, 1944 in Roanoke, Va. to the late Courtney P. and Dorothy Gorman Meador. She was a retired RN from Home Health Professionals and was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church. Donna's passion was her grandchildren, and family, whom she adored. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Nelson, a brother, Bob Meador and a nephew, Robbie Meador. Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Dennis G. Frye of the home, a son, Todd Beckner and wife Paige of Clemmons, NC, a step-son; Adam Frye, two grandchildren; Sydney and Tyler Beckner, a brother, Terry Meador and wife Debbie of Burke, VA, a sister-in-law, Lynda Meador of Florida, nieces and nephews, Missy, Ryan, Jennifer, and Chris Meador, Danny Nelson, Cindy Stowe, and Cathy Curtis. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 pm Wednesday, October 26 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel officiated by Dr. Steven Corts. Burial will follow in the Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center Grove Baptist Church, 8200 Center Grove Church Road, Clemmons, NC 27012, in memory of Donna. The Frye family would like to express their gratitude for the out pouring of love shown to them by Center Grove Baptist Church and to Forsyth Medical Center ED and Neuro ICU Staff and Physicians.
