Mrs. Betty 'Boots' Wall Draughon

Betty ""Boots"" Wall Draughon, 75 of Lewisville, NC passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 24, 1936 in Forsyth County to the late Casper and Mabel Wall. Maw was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bill Draughon and sister Dot Beatty. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Mollie Draughon, daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Chris Vogler and five grandchildren, Brad and Amber Draughon and Tyler, Tanner, and Torri Vogler. She is also survived by two sisters, Marie Kimel and her husband, Buddy, Gay Mabe and brother, Bob Wall. She was retired from Hanes Hosiery, She was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church in Clemmons, NC. While her husband, Bill was living and her health permitted, she enjoyed traveling to Daytona NASCAR races, Nashville for Fanfare and most of all watching her grandchildren participate in anything. Boots's visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19th, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway from 6-8:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Westlawn Gardens of Memory on Friday, January 20th, 2012 at 11:00 am officiated by Dr. Mark Harris.
