Mr. William Bryce Reavis, Sr.

W. Bryce Reavis Sr. Age 92, from Yadkinville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born Nov. 3, 1920 in Yadkin Co. to the late Zenas and Ruby Reavis. He gradu-ated from Lees McRae College and owned and operated Reavico Farms Inc. until retirement. He was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl. H. Reavis. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Moorhead Reavis, 5 children, William B. Reavis, Jr. (Lou Ann), Nancy R. Shore, (Michael), Hugh M. Reavis (Cindy), Janet R. Wall (Mike) and Joel D. Reavis (Jennifer) 14 grand-children, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Mary Lou Miller, Lula R. Renegar, and Ann R. Steelman (Howard). The family will receive friends, Thursday, Sept 12th from 5:00-7:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm at Hayworth-Miller, Silas Creek Chapel officiated by Pastor Danny Spainhour. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Kate B.
